I learned from the book: Diet for a New America: How Your Food Choices Affect Your Health, Happiness and the Future of Life on Earth by John Robbins, about sprouting seeds. I learned how we can get more nutrients from our food when ki is sprouted (6-10 times), we can digest sprouted food better, and about the ease of growing sprouts. I leaned this could help with food deserts and food insecurities, which really motivated me to learn more too. We found this company, Sprout People , to learn from and order organic seeds. I got my first order of seeds, to see what I like best, on Sept. 18. I have been loving growing these sweet sprouted crops in my home since then (mostly in the kitchen).
